Opening Minds through Art (OMA)

Opening Minds through Art (OMA) is the Miami University Scripps Gerontology Center’s intergenerational art program for people with dementia that is aimed at promoting their social engagement, autonomy, and dignity through the experience of creative self-expression.

Resident artists of Pleasant Lake Villa and OMA volunteers from Padua Franciscan High School, Strongsville High School, St. Bridget School, and Parma Community School will host their first OMA Art Show.

Please join us for an opening reception that features artwork crafted by our residents. Light refreshments will be served.
